BNP Paribas
Doc Factory checks for mortgage application documents
BNP Paribas reported saving around 30 minutes per mortgage file with AI document checks
Problem
Mortgage advisors manually entered and checked application documents. That work delayed applications and created opportunities for errors.
Approach
BNP Paribas combined conventional AI with its internal Doc Factory document-processing software. The system extracted information and checked it against the advisor's loan-planning tool. It went live across metropolitan France in November 2024 for basic mortgages, excluding complex lending.
Results
Takeaway
Document checks were integrated into the advisors' existing tool. The deployment excluded complex mortgages such as bridging loans.
