Problem

Clinical charting competed with patient interaction and added administrative work for clinicians. Carle Health tested ambient AI documentation across several specialties.

Approach

Carle completed a four-week Nabla pilot involving family medicine, pediatrics and other practices. Clinicians used standard templates and features including telehealth support. Nabla announced a subsequent rollout and Epic integration; those steps remained planned at the announcement.

Results

Over 50%share of pilot clinicians reporting at least an hour of daily documentation savings, per NablaVendor case study[1]

Takeaway

The time saving came from clinician reports during a short pilot. It did not measure results across the planned wider deployment.
