Currys

Agentic AI video tool for repair intake

Currys rolled out agentic AI video software at one of Europe's largest tech repair centres

In progressPress reporting

Problem

Repair technicians often did not know the exact fault or the right parts before a product arrived or a visit was made. That led to repeat visits and unneeded callouts.

Approach

Currys deployed the Vyn video tool from Vyntelligence. After a contact-centre call, the customer got a text link, filmed the fault and photographed the serial number. The AI summarised the issue for technicians and the serial number photo was digitised so the correct parts could be identified. It first covered white goods and TV repairs under warranty or care plans.

No published figures

Takeaway

Currys expected better first-time fix rates and fewer unnecessary callouts. It published no results.
