De Alliantie

Generative AI chatbot and call summaries for tenant service

Dutch housing nonprofit's chatbot saves about nine hours a week in customer service

WorkingVendor's case studyVendor ↗

Problem

Service staff used a clunky knowledge-base search, and newer staff often passed questions to seniors. The center handles about 3,000 calls a week.

Approach

De Alliantie built a chatbot on Azure OpenAI Service that answers from its knowledge base and links to the source article. Azure AI Speech transcribes calls and each call gets a two-sentence summary.

Takeaway

The chatbot saves about nine hours a week and staff answer tenants within seconds. The freed time goes to improving articles and coaching junior staff.
