Problem

Limited access to radiologists complicated tuberculosis screening in remote areas. Existing analog X-ray equipment needed a route into AI-assisted analysis.

Approach

The State TB Office partnered with APT and KHPT, with India Health Fund financing and Qure AI support. Health workers photographed films on a view box and uploaded them to qTrack for analysis. STAR began in June 2021.
