Problem

Urgent imaging findings needed prompt clinical attention. Incidental abnormalities also needed follow-up even when they were unrelated to the original reason for a scan.

Approach

Mercy launched Aidoc's aiOS platform in January 2025. It deployed 13 imaging AI solutions across more than 50 hospitals to flag abnormalities and prioritize review. Mercy commissioned AVIA to examine deployment data covering 5 months.

Takeaway

The reported gains involved both prioritizing urgent scans and directing patients with incidental findings to clinical attention. The findings came from a review commissioned by Mercy.
