Ola Electric Mobility
Ola Digital Twin on NVIDIA Omniverse for the Futurefactory
Ola Electric said its factory digital twin cut design-to-commissioning time by 20%
Problem
Ola Electric was building a large automated two-wheeler plant in India. It needed to plan the lines, check quality processes and train robots before and during commissioning.
Approach
Ola built the Ola Digital Twin platform on NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim, with its Krutrim AI unit. The twin was used to plan the Futurefactory, to simulate manufacturing and quality inspection, and to compare real and simulated environments for predictive maintenance. Synthetic data from the twin was used to train autonomous mobile robots and robotic arms.
Results
Takeaway
A factory twin gave Ola one model for planning, inspection and robot training. The time saving is the company's own figure.
