Organo
Group-wide in-house generative AI platform on Google Cloud Gemini
Organo ran a Gemini-based AI platform for about 1,800 users on under 100,000 yen a month in usage charges
Problem
Organo used SaaS generative AI services. They lacked the fine-grained access control needed for internal technical documents, and per-user pricing would have cost millions of yen a month at company scale.
Approach
With iret, Organo built its own platform on Google Cloud Gemini, customized from iret's Kantan AI Pack. It added Okta and Firebase Authentication for access control by organization, links to internal technical documents, and Model Armor security features. The build took about six months, and the model was upgraded from Gemini 2.0 to 2.5 along the way. Overseas group companies can use it.

Takeaway
Metered model pricing made a company-wide rollout affordable where per-seat SaaS fees would not have been, according to the case.
