Problem

Emergency clinicians spend about 10 minutes per patient on charting, which slows care and discharge.

Approach

Sayvant built a tool on Azure OpenAI Service that transcribes clinician-patient conversations in near real time in more than 30 languages. It produces charts for clinician review and personalized discharge instructions. The private beta started in summer 2024, and the system is designed to meet SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements.

Takeaway

A company of fewer than 50 staff reached about 70 live sites in under nine months, per Microsoft's account. The hours and adoption claims are not independently checked.
