Wealthsimple
NVIDIA Triton platform for operational machine learning
Wealthsimple reported cutting model delivery from months to under 15 minutes
Problem
Without a standard inference platform, Wealthsimple's engineering teams took several months to put new machine-learning models into production. This slowed delivery of services using those models.
Approach
Wealthsimple adopted NVIDIA Triton Inference Server as a shared deployment platform. Models supported fraud detection and onboarding, including routing institutional transfers to the appropriate destination. Developers subsequently deployed a model without engineering assistance.
Results
Takeaway
A common inference service reduced the engineering work attached to each model release. The reported delivery improvement did not measure model accuracy.
