GenAI Ads Manager for small-business TV advertising
ITV launched a generative AI tool that makes TV ads for small businesses in under thirty seconds
Problem
Traditional TV ad production cost thousands to tens of thousands of pounds, which kept many small businesses out of television advertising.
Approach
ITV introduced a generative AI ad production service in September 2024. In October 2025 it announced the GenAI Ads Manager, built on Magnite's streamr.ai technology. The tool reads a business's website and social media pages and builds an ad from them. ITV's commercial creative team runs it, and every ad passes ClearCast review before broadcast.
Results
Takeaway
ITV gave no pricing, sales or audience results for the tool at launch.
