MAIRE
Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout with a Human in the Loop portal
Italy's MAIRE reports 800 working hours a month saved in the first 300-license Copilot phase
Problem
The engineering group, with more than 8,000 employees and projects in 45 countries, wanted to see where generative AI helps across different business areas.
Approach
MAIRE started with 300 Copilot licenses spread across the group, then added 2,000 more, mostly assigned through a call-to-action campaign on an internal portal. It measures use with the Copilot Dashboard in Viva Insights and has held six training sessions.
Results
Takeaway
MAIRE expanded Copilot by assigning most additional licences to staff who applied through its internal portal. It says savings more than doubled after the first phase but gives no new figure beyond 'hundreds of working hours' a month.
