MongoDB
Sage internal engineering agent platform
MongoDB built an internal agent platform for 20+ engineering teams, according to Mastra
Problem
Engineers spent hours reading failed-build logs and comparing runs to identify causes.
Approach
MongoDB prototyped a log-analysis agent in May 2025 and rebuilt it on Mastra starting in July. The resulting Sage platform supported Parsley AI, which summarized logs and investigated earlier runs. Other deployed agents routed Slack questions and generated release notes from Jira tickets.

Takeaway
Shared authentication and agent infrastructure let other engineering teams build on the original log-analysis tool.
