NOS
GitHub Copilot for internal software development
NOS reported incorporating at least 60,000 Copilot-generated code lines monthly without edits
Problem
NOS's expanding engineering activity had left teams using isolated source control systems. The company wanted developers to collaborate and reuse code.
Approach
After consolidating development on GitHub, NOS rolled out Copilot as a coding assistant. Its subsidiary Ten Twenty One helped drive platform adoption. NOS also used Copilot Autofix to suggest repairs for detected security vulnerabilities.

Takeaway
Generated and accepted code counts described different stages of use. Neither count established a corresponding reduction in development time or defect rates.
