Recordsure
Project Unity: single Azure stack for AI products
Recordsure reports total Azure production costs at 25% of one bank’s former monthly cloud cost
Problem
The UK software firm ran two separate technology stacks with two engineering teams and two sets of data scientists. That made sharing resources hard and raised costs.
Approach
The firm moved everything to Azure under Project Unity, from virtual machines to Azure Kubernetes Service. It added Azure AI Speech, AI Search, OpenAI and Machine Learning, and runs GPUs on demand inside each customer's environment.
Results
Takeaway
The company compares one tier-one bank's monthly cost on its old cloud with its whole Azure production bill. These are the firm's own figures.
