Satispay
Claude Code deployment across engineering
Satispay upgraded its core payment service in under 4 days against a 4-week estimate
Problem
Satispay's earlier-career engineers spent substantial time understanding unfamiliar Java and Spring services. Senior review became a bottleneck because reviewers also had to teach and explain system context.
Approach
Satispay evaluated Claude Code on real development tickets in mid-2025 and deployed it through managed engineering laptops. Engineers used it to change code and review work before human review. They retained responsibility for merged code.
Results
Takeaway
The payment-service result compared elapsed work with an initial estimate. It did not establish the speedup against a measured manual implementation.
