TODA Corporation
Toda-AI-Portal, in-house generative AI over construction knowledge
TODA built its own generative AI portal for construction know-how, with more than 3,000 employees using it
Problem
Technical documents, past disaster cases and public-works proposals were scattered across the company. AI applications had also been developed separately.
Approach
TODA built Toda-AI-Portal in-house as a single entry point for AI use. Staff can query technical documents, disaster cases and proposals and get answers with supporting evidence. The portal also generates PowerPoint files in the company format, plus Excel, Word and PDF files. TODA chose to build it because it judged general-purpose AI services hard to apply to construction expertise and proprietary information. Company-wide rollout was announced on 18 May 2026.
