Problem

Insurance advisers needed to assess customers' existing policies and identify gaps in coverage. Customers also needed a clearer view of the protection they had already purchased.

Approach

A+ Asset Advisor developed BOPLE with its affiliate Finelab and launched it in May 2019. The company said deep learning analyzed its customer policy records to produce coverage scores. The app presented coverage by insurance category for affiliated advisers and customers.

Results

Takeaway

The app put coverage analysis into the same mobile service used by advisers and customers. The disclosed record count described the data behind the scores, rather than a measured improvement in advice.
