Atea
Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio agents for Atea's own staff
Atea staff say Copilot and agents save them about 50 minutes a day, Microsoft says
Problem
Atea, an IT infrastructure and services company with more than 8,000 employees in seven countries, wanted its own staff to use AI at work. It also wanted a framework it could offer to customers.
Approach
Atea licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot for more than half of its workforce and built agents in Copilot Studio. It set up an internal Agent Hotel, a governed marketplace where staff find, publish and request agents. It also piloted Kate, an orchestrator that routes sales and customer requests to more than 35 specialised sub-agents.

Takeaway
Atea paired broad licences with a governed internal marketplace, so staff could build and share agents. The time saving is self-reported by employees, and the Kate orchestrator was still a pilot with about 100 active users.
