CASIO
CASIO AI CHAT in-house generative AI chatbot
Casio built an in-house AI chatbot on Amazon Bedrock in about a month with three people
Problem
Casio wanted employees across the group to use generative AI for coding, writing and research, and to switch between models as they improved.
Approach
A core team of three built the chatbot in about one month on Amazon Bedrock and rolled it out company-wide in March 2024. It runs on a closed network. Prompt logs feed usage dashboards. Coding support was the most common use, with Claude 3.5 Sonnet praised for coding and Japanese. Casio planned to add creative work and internal document search.
Results
Takeaway
Casio chose Bedrock so it could add new models quickly without rebuilding the app.
