Problem

Genpact's online learning program depended on a limited number of internal experts to answer questions. Employees needed answers outside scheduled training sessions.

Approach

Genpact launched AI Guru within its Genome learning platform in July 2023. It used GPT-3.5 through Azure OpenAI Service and drew on 3 years of course material and internal questions and answers. Several thousand senior learners could access the assistant.

Results

Takeaway

Genpact used an existing body of learning content to extend access to internal expertise. Early usage counts did not measure learning outcomes.
