MIRAIT ONE
Tablet forms and AI knowledge search for telecom field work (Genba Koreichi)
MIRAIT ONE reported about 20% lower work costs in a trial of tablet forms and AI search, then set a rollout to 35 Kanto sites
Problem
Telecom infrastructure crews filled in paper forms on site and re-entered the data at the office. Finding the right manual or procedure also took time.
Approach
MIRAIT ONE and NTT TechnoCross built the tool together on NTT TechnoCross's data-use platform, starting in October 2025. Workers enter inspection results, attach photos and submit reports on a tablet. They can also ask questions about manuals and procedures by voice or text, and the AI returns summaries or diagrams. After a trial, MIRAIT ONE announced full deployment at 35 Kanto sites of its NTT business division.

Takeaway
The cost figure comes from a trial and the company's own measurement. The 35-site rollout had only been announced when the source was published.
