Mitra Keluarga
Nara, an AI resume-screening assistant for HR
Mitra Keluarga's resume-screening assistant Nara saves more than 2,300 HR hours a year, per AWS
Problem
Mitra Keluarga runs 32 hospitals in Indonesia with 9,125 staff. Its HR team received resumes in many formats and screened them by hand.
Approach
The hospital group built Nara with AWS partner Sarana AI on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Textract. Nara standardises resumes and matches candidates to skill requirements, then surfaces top applicants for recruiters. It never screens candidates out on its own, and HR staff make all hiring decisions.
Results
Takeaway
Mitra Keluarga kept hiring decisions with people and used the AI only to sort and match resumes.
