Partner's AI agents handled up to about half of inquiries in a customer pilot without a human

Problem

Partner, an Israeli telecom operator, takes customer inquiries on topics such as TV remote faults, roaming and billing. It wanted to move routine contacts away from human representatives.

Approach

Partner built an AI Agents Team with Wonderful. One agent handles phone support for TV remote problems and arranges replacements. A second handles roaming by phone and WhatsApp, including travel packages and usage checks. A third handles financial inquiries by phone. Inquiries pass to a human or a digital channel when needed. Separately, Partner's technology division built an in-house AI system that gives representatives real-time feedback and summarizes calls.

Results

up to approximately 50%share of inquiries handled end-to-end by AI agents in a months-long customer pilot, per Partner, as reported by The Jerusalem PostCompany's own claim[1]

Takeaway

The 50% figure comes from a pilot of a few months and is a ceiling: Partner said up to about half of inquiries. The Jerusalem Post gave no independent check.
