SAPPORO AI-Stick generative AI tool for all group employees
Sapporo Group gave about 6,000 employees an in-house generative AI tool built on Amazon Bedrock
Problem
Sapporo Group wanted better work quality and productivity and better business processes across its companies. It had run employee DX training since 2022.
Approach
The group built SAPPORO AI-Stick in-house on Amazon Bedrock and introduced it to all group employees from 3 February 2025. It offers text chat, image generation and answers drawn from internal data. Training developed with Aidemy started in February 2025 and includes hands-on sessions and shared prompt templates. The group planned to link more internal data and build department-specific uses.

Takeaway
Sapporo paired the tool launch with a training program for the same staff. No usage or savings figures had been published.
