SHIFT
In-house generative AI tools applied to internal business processes
SHIFT raised use of its own generative AI tool from 23% to 76% of staff in six months and converted 825 business processes
Problem
SHIFT wanted its staff to use generative AI in daily work, not only to try it once. It needed a way to raise and keep up usage across the company.
Approach
SHIFT provided a secure in-house AI environment, analyzed usage logs, ran campaigns for different user groups, built AI tools for specific department tasks and shared lessons through communities and internal contests. In total 825 business processes were converted to AI. In May 2025 SHIFT packaged the method as a paid service called Generative AI 360, which it sells to other companies.
Results
Takeaway
SHIFT counts adoption as a usage rate and a number of converted processes. The monthly cost saving it names is an expectation, not a measured result.
