Audience Strategies cut its electronic music industry report from three months to four weeks with Claude

Problem

Audience Strategies, a five-person team, produces an annual report on the UK electronic music sector with the Night Time Industries Association. In 2025 the project started late and ran on a compressed timeline. The team had to work through interviews with about 25 people and hundreds of thousands of words.

Approach

The team used Claude Enterprise to process interview transcripts exported from otter.ai. Claude summarized each interview, sorted insights by report section, pulled quotes and found themes. The team also used Claude Projects with knowledge files linked live to Google Docs so its distributed team worked from the same material.

Results

3 months to 4 weekstime to produce the reportVendor case study[1]
2 hours to 25 minutesinterview preparation and analysis time per interviewVendor case study[1]
4 weeks to a few daystime for the writing phaseVendor case study[1]
30% moretopics covered compared with previous reportsVendor case study[1]

Takeaway

Transcript-heavy research work was where a small team got the largest time savings. The team used the time saved to cover more topics.
