CD PROJEKT RED
Viktor Vektor's Polish voice recreation for Phantom Liberty
CD PROJEKT RED used AI voice conversion for Viktor Vektor's new Polish dialogue
Problem
Miłogost Reczek, Viktor Vektor's Polish voice actor, died before the Phantom Liberty expansion. The studio wanted new dialogue to retain his voice.
Approach
With permission from Reczek's family, Respeecher built a voice model from existing recordings. Janusz Zadura performed the new dialogue, which the model converted into Reczek's voice. The expansion was released in September 2023.

Takeaway
A new actor supplied the performance while AI supplied the vocal identity. The vendor did not publish a measured production-cost benefit.
