Japan Post Bank
AI knowledge retrieval and Know-Flow DX for staff inquiries
Japan Post Bank extended staff FAQ access to about 24,000 post offices
Problem
Partner-center operators answered large volumes of questions from bank branches and postal savings counters. Complex products and extensive FAQ material made quick, consistent answers difficult.
Approach
Japan Post Bank introduced Fujitsu's AI knowledge assistant in August 2021. It transcribed calls and let operators search FAQ candidates using conversation text. Know-Flow DX subsequently made the accumulated FAQ accessible directly to counter staff, expanding nationwide in May 2022.
Results
Takeaway
The deployment connected operator-assisted retrieval with direct staff access to the same knowledge. Reductions in handling time and inquiry volume remained expected benefits.
