KEIO AI-Hub group-wide generative AI tool
Keio gave 33 group companies a secure generative AI tool and linked it to its crew chat app
Problem
Keio Group staff needed a safe way to use generative AI. Train crew and dispatchers also needed quick access to internal rules and manuals when something went wrong.
Approach
Keio and its group company Kansei AI built KEIO AI-Hub from fiscal 2023. It gives access to several generative AI models in a secure environment and adds a text-mining function from Kansei AI. On 10 March 2026 Keio linked it to the Buddycom smartphone app, so crew can ask questions by voice or text and get answers drawn from Keio's rules and manuals. Rail departments such as vehicle electrical and civil engineering are to follow.
Results
Takeaway
Keio reported usage numbers but no measured results.
