Lowe's
Mylow Companion for store associates
Lowe's deployed Mylow Companion to associates across more than 1,700 stores
Problem
Store associates needed to answer project questions beyond their own departments. New employees also needed access to product expertise while serving shoppers.
Approach
Lowe's developed Mylow Companion with OpenAI and launched it on associates' existing handheld devices in May 2025. Conversational prompts, including voice-to-text, provided project guidance and inventory information. It shared a foundation with the customer-facing Mylow assistant.
Results
Takeaway
The assistant brought cross-department knowledge onto devices associates already carried. No measured service improvement was disclosed at launch.
