Samsung SDS
Brity Copilot work assistant
Samsung SDS reported meeting-minute time down more than 75% in internal use, then sold the assistant to more than 180,000 users
Problem
Routine office work such as writing meeting minutes, reading and answering email and catching up on messenger threads took a large share of employees' time.
Approach
Samsung SDS added generative AI to Brity Works, its collaboration suite for mail, messenger, meetings and documents, and tested it inside the company first. It presented the internal results at CES in January 2024 and launched Brity Copilot for customers in April 2024. By April 2025 it was used at 17 Samsung affiliates and 11 outside companies.
Results
Takeaway
The time savings come from Samsung SDS's own test, with no published method or sample, and the same figures were then used to market the product. Internal use served both as a pilot and as the sales case.
