Stitch Fix Vision, personalized AI images of clients in recommended outfits

Stitch Fix said clients who used its AI Vision images more than doubled their Freestyle spend over 90 days

WorkingCompany's own claim

Problem

Online clients could not see how recommended clothes would look on them. Stitch Fix wanted to raise engagement and spend on its Freestyle store and on scheduled Fixes.

Approach

Stitch Fix launched Vision in October 2025. Generative AI combines a client's style profile with an uploaded photo to make personalized images of the client in outfits. The company then added a 'See It On Me' feature so clients can pick a look and see it on themselves. It also spread Vision across onboarding, Fix Preview, Freestyle and checkout.

Results

more than 22 millionVision images shared with clients since the October 2025 launch, per the CEOCompany's own claim[2][3]
more than 100%lift in Freestyle spend over 90 days for clients who used Vision, per the CEO on the Q3 fiscal 2026 call; the Q4 call called the lift 'significant' without a percentageCompany's own claim[1][2]

Takeaway

The spend lift is the company's own comparison of clients who used Vision with those who did not, and the CEO's later remarks gave no percentage. The 22 million image count shows how widely the tool was used.
