Adecco's AI agents handled 1.2 million candidate interactions and cut time-to-deliver by 50% in lead markets

Problem

A staffing firm with 3,500 branches had to reach, screen and place large numbers of candidates, much of it outside office hours. Recruiters spent time on first contacts and follow-ups.

Approach

Adecco deployed a network of AI agents covering pre-screening, talent pool management, recruiter support, customer service, onboarding and voice. It used Salesforce Agentforce, and Orbio AI in Latin America, where it ran a one-year experimentation phase. A Redeployment Agent contacts candidates within days of an assignment ending. The agents ran in 10 countries.

Results

1.2 millioncandidate-agent interactions, per AdeccoCompany's own claim[1]

50%reduction in time-to-deliver in lead markets, per AdeccoCompany's own claim[1]
above 80%fill rates in lead markets, per AdeccoCompany's own claim[1]

Takeaway

The agents took on first contact and follow-up work, and about half of the interactions happened outside normal working hours.
