Capita
Microsoft 365 Copilot and employee-built agents
Capita reported 9,000 employee hours saved in a month after deploying three thousand Microsoft 365 Copilot licences
Problem
Capita wanted staff to find policies and run routine workflows faster. It also wanted business teams, not only IT, to build their own automation.
Approach
Capita began with a small trial of Microsoft 365 Copilot across several business areas, then expanded as value showed. It reached 3,000 licences and named departmental champions to help non-technical staff build no-code agents. One agent, AskMeAnything, lets employees search policies and procedures held in SharePoint. Capita also worked with Microsoft on EU AI Act compliance and data governance.
Results
Takeaway
Capita grew from a small trial to team-level agents built by staff. Microsoft's story did not say how the hours saved were measured.
